Music royalty Beyonce and Jay-Z have welcomed a little baby girl into the world.

'Ivy Blue Carter' was born via a scheduled Caesarean section in a private wing of Lenox Hill Hospital Saturday night.

Rihanna was among the first to celebrate the couple's new arrival, taking to Twitter.com to post, "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih".

Music mogul Russell Simmons also confirmed the arrival of the bundle of joy, tweeting "congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z."

Beyonce had checked into the upper East Side hospital on Friday night under the name 'Ingrid Jackson,' a hospital staffer told the Daily News.

Beyonce and her hip-hop hubby, whose real name is Shawn Carter, rented out the hospital's entire fourth floor for $1.3 million, the employee said.

On Saturday night, people were seen bringing bags of takeout and a dozen bottles of red wine onto the heavily guarded hospital wing.

After 11pm, even doctors and nurses were barred from entering the fourth floor, prompting one doc to complain that he had patients to see.

In an effort to keep images from leaking to the public, hospital workers placed tape over security cameras and are forcing employees to turn in mobile phones when they arrive for their shifts, a source said.

Several security guards were spotted patrolling the perimeter of the hospital Saturday night.

A Lenox Hill staffer confirmed that a patient named Ingrid Jackson was in a 'labor room.'

Justin wrote & recorded his 2002 hit single Cry Me A River after a fight with Britney. Read More
Justin Timberlake wrote and recorded his 2002 hit single Cry Me A River after a fight with his then-girlfriend Britney Spears.

The song has long been rumoured to detail the breakdown of the couple's romance and the video even featured a girl bearing a striking similarity to Spears.

Timberlake has always denied the claims, but now his producer pal, Timbaland, has confirmed Britney was the inspiration for the track as it was made following a heated phone conversation between the young lovers.

In a new E! True Hollywood Story special about Timbaland, the superproducer says, "He went to a concert and saw Britney, and Britney talked about him in the show and he was p**sed." Timberlake, who stops short of mentioning Spears by name, explains, "I was on a phone call that was not the most enjoyable phone call.

I walked into the studio and he (Timbaland) could tell I was visibly angry." Justin poured out his feelings in the song, and the emotion showed in his opening lyrics.

Timbaland recalls, "I was like, 'Man, don't worry about it' and he was like, 'I can't believe she did that to me' and he was like, 'You were my sun, you were my earth...'" Justin split from Spears that year.

The track went on to land Timberlake the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance

Hollywood pregnancy puzzle for you - here are your clues?

1.)    A married actor had a one-night stand with one of his exes, who's an actress in an acclaimed TV show. She wound up pregnant.
2.)    The actor's wife found out about the baby, and, to no one's surprise, went completely ballistic.
3.)    Despite pressure from all sides, the pregnant actress decided to keep the baby.
4.)    The male actor's marriage is now on the rocks (for another reason).
Any ideas?

As always, I have no idea, except to say the most popular guess is Ashton Kutcher and January Jones (who still hasn't revealed the father of the son she had 2 months ago and had a previous fling with Mr. Kutcher.)

Ohhh this is good!

A new Aussie 007 in the making?
An Aussie could be handed the license to kill if the rumours are true. Mr. Hugh Jackman has come out and hinted at a future role as 007.

He admitted that he had been approached in the past to play Bond but his schedule was too full and it was just not the right time but if he was offered the role again he would take it in a heart beat since every actor dreams of playing Bond one day.

I don't know how Daniel Craig feels abut this since he's due to start filming the latest 23rd Bond film.

With my extensive movie directing knowledge, I think Hugh Jackman will look fantastic shooting guns in a pair of speedos.
