Teenagers arrested after police cars were rammed in Sale

Police have arrested four teenagers after a divisional van and a police car were allegedly rammed in Sale by a teenage girl driving a stolen car this morning.
The incident began around 9.00am when police spotted the stolen car on Princes Street, Traralgon.
Police used a mobile phone in the vehicle to track where it was going over a distance of 50 kilometres.
The car was driven to Rosedale where a local police car attempted to intercept it on the Princes Highway in Kilmany but the car evaded police and headed towards Sale.
The vehicle was followed by police in a divisional van and a police car into an industrial estate in Sale, where both vehicles were rammed by the stolen car before fleeing.
The car was driven a further six kilometres to Wurruk where three girls, one aged 15 and two aged 16, along with a 15-year-old boy, were apprehended by police on Arnup Road.
The rear of the police divisional van was extensively damaged and the other police car was also damaged.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police are continuing their investigation.
